8, 9 & 11 May 2017

Heyo! It’s Thursday and I’ve worked out three times this week. And one of those times was a Monday. I always feel like I deserve a double high five for working out on a Monday because, well, Mondays suck ass. And I generally like to ease into the week so that means I only really start working out on Wednesday and by then I’m keen to ease out of the week. So the cycle goes. So you can see the problem with my work out schedule. I.E I don’t have a work out schedule. But that’s why this whole yoga at home thing is so rad.

On Monday I did two lessons on Crow pose.

You know. This bad boy.

That is obviously not me. I managed to lift my one foot a centimetre off the ground for about five seconds. And no ways did I look as good as this woman who I found on Pinterest. And as a side note, this pose is fucking sore man! Like your knees are digging into the backs of your arms, it’s really intense.

Then on Tuesday I decided to do the Adriene classes in order. So I’ve started at the beginning and I’m just working my way through them. So I did five lessons on Tuesday because they were all ±6 minute foundation courses. So one course is on cat cow or bound ankle pose or mountain etc etc. So on Tuesday I did the following: Sukhasana, Cat cow, Bound ankle, Mountain and Forward fold. And it was actually pretty cool to start with the basics.

Then on Wednesday I moved on to Runners Lunge, Extended Child’s Pose, Reclined Twist, Downward Facing Dog and Warrior One. I actually wanted to do more videos on Wednesday but midway through W1 I actually starting feeling a little sick. Think it’s because I only ate three meals today. I know maybe this is the norm, but I am an eight meal a day kind of girl. I can’t even think about exercising until I have sufficiently fed myself. In fact, my boyfriend doesn’t tell me we’re going on three hour hikes he tells me we’re going on a three snack hike. Which I then assume is a 1.5 hour hike because, come on, does he even know me at all? (This is another story.)

Anyway the cool thing about doing yoga at home is that I can literally do as many classes as I want to, so today I maybe only did 20 minutes, but it’s 20 minutes more than I would have done.

Double high five!

    1. She is so awesome! I’m really enjoying it. I’m going to try and do both. Go to classes every now and then and also watch all of her videos. She has a bunch of 30 day challenges too which I’m a little nervous about, but will deal with that when I get there.
